It’s a subcapsular enucleation implant. It comprises a front hydroxyapatite hemisphere and a rear silicone elastomer hemisphere. It combines the advantages of hydroxyapatite (favourite tissue vascularization) with the advantages of silicone (minimal trauma and free movement within the orbital socket). The front cross suture guarantees implant orientation. A post-operative conformer is required.
