Diagnosis:

Bilateral congenital microphthalmos with visual acuity, clear and centered microcornea.

Right eye: Several iridoretinal adhesions

Left eye: Not examinable

Enophthalmos and eyelid laxity not present but reduced conjunctival sac.​
Surgery:

Right eye: lensectomy and fibrovascular membrane removal

Left eye: sequently pars-plana vitrctomy and lensectomy

Prosthesis:

PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with corneal curvature. Fluorescein assessment.

Successive cosmetic hand-painted scleral shell fitting. Lens insertion to exploit maximum visual acuity.

Results after 3 years from the first session.
