Diagnosis: Congenital microphthalmos with clear and centered cornea.

Slight enophthalmos, moderate eyelid laxity and​ reduced conjunctival sac.​

 

Surgery: Patient underwent scleral buckling and pars-plana vitrectomy without retinal reattachment in 1994 and 1995.

Prosthesis: PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with corneal curvature. Fluorescein assessment.

Successive cosmetic hand-painted scleral shell fitting.

Results after 10 years from the first session.
