Diagnosis:

Subatrophic eye with leucomatous and centered cornea with irregular and flat surface.

Severe enophthalmos, prolapsed eyelid and reduced conjunctival sac.

 

Surgery: 

Patient underwent scleral buckling and pars-plana vitrectomy without retinal reattachment in 1999.

Prosthesis:

PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with shifted corneal curvature. Fluorescein assessment.

Successive cosmetic hand-painted scleral shell fitting.

Results after 6 years from the first session.
