Diagnosis:

Congenital microphthalmos, clear and dislocated microcornea.

Good eyelid mobility. Visual acuity at birth = 3/10
Surgery:

Prosthesis:

PMMA clear scleral shell fitting with corneal shifted curvature. Fluorescein assessment.

Successive cosmetic hand-painted scleral shell fitting. Lens insertion to exploit maximum visual acuity. Lens removal after a few years because it was no longer needed for medical purposes.

Results after 12 years from the first session.
